‘o(type)’ is the new release from Cambridge-based four-piece Lemondaze. The band have blended together post-rock and shoegaze into something that feels dense and emotionally heavy. The thunderous sound of the low end is matched by a whispered lead vocal that guides the track toward its cascading, noisy outro. They describe the track as “a purer, more honest song, it comes directly from our souls. It’s unashamedly us, about our personal relationships with love. We hadn’t made music like that before.
